Traditional Chinese Painting Class

In this 2-hour class, you will learn the skills and techniques of traditional Chinese ink painting and learn the key differences between Chinese and Western art.  

Have fun and experiment with different Chinese artistic tools and styles and learn how to make use of Chinese paintbrushes and rice paper. 

The instructor will guide you through the process of creating your very own bamboo-themed ink painting on rice paper that you can take it home afterwards!

Activity :

  • 20 minutes history of Chinese painting, and how it is different from Western painting

  • Learn about the equipment and tools for traditional Chinese painting

  • Warm-up exercises and simple painting

  • Complete your bamboo painting
