Good to Know

  • Topics we cover include history, politics, daily life, religion, food, housing, education, and more—depth depends on your interests.
  • Hotel or cruise terminal meet-up is included. Airport meet-up is subject to a surcharge. We’ll meet you wherever is most convenient.
  • Public transport is included (MTR, bus, ding ding tram, ferry). Taxis, Peak Tram, entrance fees, and food/drinks are extra.
  • Children aged 11 and under join free. Ages 12+ count as full guests.
  • If you have mobility restrictions please consider a Private Customised Car Tour.
  • Tours run in all weather unless there’s a Typhoon #8 or Red/Black storm warning. Check the Hong Kong Observatory for alerts.

Chinese New Year 2026

Please note that all bookings made for dates between February 16–21 are subject to a Chinese New Year (CNY) surcharge due to the holiday period in Hong Kong.

This surcharge can be paid after booking via invoice.

We do accept last minute bookings so if you are already in Hong Kong please do contact us for our availability.

For numbers over 8 people please add HK$325 per addition.

Tours starting between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM will incur a surcharge of HK$120. Tours starting before 8:00 AM will incur a surcharge of $370. Tours finishing after 9:00 PM will incur a surcharge of $250 per hour after 9:00 PM. Surcharges are payable via invoice after booking.

Glide up to Victoria Peak aboard Hong Kong’s most iconic form of transport. The historic Peak Tram takes you past lush hillsides to a panoramic view of the skyline, harbour, and islands beyond. This add-on includes a return ticket, so you can fully enjoy the journey up and back at your own pace.

Aberdeen Sampan Boat Ride

Step back in time with a 20-minute cruise through Aberdeen’s atmospheric typhoon shelter on a traditional sampan. Sail past working fishing boats, floating homes, and superyachts while your guide shares stories of Hong Kong’s maritime past. Optional: Try a bowl of boat noodles by the harbour (around HK$60, paid on the day).
