Kowloon Soy Co. in Central is the cornerstone of Hong Kong’s Chinese culinary scene since it started retail operations during the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong in the early 1940s . Up until now, they still brew their soy sauce the traditional way where they put the beans in large clay vats under the sun for three months.
The shop is very easy to find and the people there are very LOVELY, that even our Hello Hong Kong tour guides loves the place!
